Tommie B crowned “a musical genius” by business mogul “Russell Simmons”, born on the West Side of Chicago & raised on the South Side unleashed his musical talents early as a child. At the youthful age of 5 he started to nurture his natural vocals by singing in local church choirs and talent shows across the Chicagoland area. Being an individual of many talents, Tommie began to write his own music at age 11, allowing him the ability to create a name for himself outside of the city with his songwriting and vocal production skills.
Continuously perfecting his craft, Tommie B. works meticulously to take his career to innovative heights. With his work ethic sealed, he has networked amongst a list of R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop & Rock heavy hitters such as (Singer/Songwriter/Producer) Tank, (Singer/Songwriter) Eric Dawkins, (Songwriter/Producer) Toni Dixon, TV One’s R&B Diva (Singer/Songwriter) Syleena Johnson and a local pop group from Japan to name a few. After creating camaraderie in the industry amongst the most high, he has been employed by BadBoy Ent. & MTV Networks as a Vocal/Acting Talent for the hit show Diddy’s “Making His Band” (2009). Being 1 of only 2 male singers apart of the entire season (Available for review on Mtv.com) Tommie has been successfully introduced as the future to our music’s youth.
A host of endless opportunities have motivated Tommie B. to support the community that made him into the inspirational singer/songwriter/producer he is today.
