Alex Forbes has signed an Administration deal with The Royalty Network, Inc. Alex is a professional songwriter in New York who's had a bunch of Billboard hits since 1985, plus other songs in feature films and on TV, etc. She also teaches songwriting courses in the Steinhardt School at NYU and at Gotham Writers' Workshop, and coaches songwriters privately via her website, CreativeSongwriter.com. Her latest release is with the Pop/Rock band Push Play on Wind-Up (MySpace.com/pushplayrox). Plus she has a single with Safire, "Exotique," one with Dee Robert called "Disappear," and several tunes with a young singer from a soon-to-be-launched TV show. Artists, producers and writers she’s worked with include Hayley Westenra (New Zealand classical/pop superstar), Taylor Dayne (2 Pop, 3 AC, 6 Dance song, "Don't Rush Me,"), Alisha, Martha Wash, Rockelle (Dance/Pop hit, "In A Dream,") Joey Lawrence, Marie Frank (Top 5 single "Big Love" on gold album in Denmark), Tony Visconti (rock producer of Bowie, T. Rex, etc.), Hiram Bullock, George LaMonde, Noel, Ray Contreras (producer), Appolonia and many others. Alex’ songs have appeared on TV shows including the major soap operas, Melrose Place, E! Entertainment, World News Tonight, Blossom, MTV, VH1 and more, as well as numerous feature films. Her works are handled through her Seashell Sky Music (Ascap) catalog.
Mickey Davis (pka ‘Black Key’) has renewed his Worldwide Administration deal with The Royalty Network. Black Key is a producer who has worked with some of the industries best. His credits include his work with 50 Cent, Jadakiss, Da Band, DMX, Ludacriss and more, helping build on his already packed catalog. We look forward to our continued relationship with Mickey. Black Key’s works are Administered through his Fifty Four Vill Music (BMI).
The Ettes (www.myspace.com/theettes) have renewed their Administration Agreement with The Royalty Network. The Ettes currently have both an Administration agreement and a Co-Publishing Agreement with us. This agreement extends the term of the Administration Agreement covering their first album ‘Shake The Dust’. Coco, Poni, Jem, and Johnny are currently prepared to head out to Europe for their tour, right after playing at Lollapalooza. We’re pleased to continue our relationship, and look forward to working closely with The Ettes in the expansion of their catalog.
